Seems that the HD3 is very much on the cards and is also ready for a great Windows Phone 7 future. From what we see in the leaked spreadsheet is that the HD7 (renamed) will be out from October 18. The spreadsheet is an internal planning doc from UK carrier O2 so you can take that as serious news.

While we are guessing that the device is definitely going to up the ante and morale of Microsoft keeping the history in our context. That is HD2 was performed very well. Again nothing could be decided until the final release so lets keep our fingers crossed.

LG Panther Windows Phone 7 Review

Considering the LG Panther being LGs first Windows Mobile phone, can you expect it to have everything you wish?

Recently we demonstrated the LG Panther GW910 in recent review, the LG Panther is beta on Windows Phone 7 . Microsoft has not been living in a cave, even it might seem so at times. They are well aware of competition like Apple IPhone 4, Android 2.2 with flash support etc. That is why Microsoft appears to bring promising phones like LG Panther GW910 to cool the heat.
Let’s take a look at LG Panther Review

Major attractions:

First of all unfortunately we could not detail you on the hardware section as it is not finalized. So let me describe out the user experience and the Software part of the device. It is currently in the same version of that in the Emulator. (Seems even this is not finalized and currently at build 6414)

We had a relishing experience using this device mainly it is completely new. There was a strong message to the Windows Phone 7 fans from the Microsoft that their fans would not be let down and our message is do not jump into any sort of conclusions in a hurry.

Initially, we were bothered about the naïve interface and the outdated block-based Start screen.. Multi-tasking was tedious. But later we discovered that to open a new app requires a press of the Start button, or a tap of the back button (This keeps a history of every move in the phone

Then, the fluidity of the interface on the LG Panther with Windows Phone 7 was really good. With quick screen animation for all the actions. The interface was responsive. Though other Smartphone operating systems can give the same, but with multiple home screens interface of this one has a lot of potential.

The start screen was not that promising with great features, thank the live tiles. (Maybe it’s because a prototype model). You can only scroll vertically on the Start screen (unless you want to swipe right to access other programs), and this really makes it feel uncluttered.

The web on Windows Phone 7 is great, definitely lot more than what we got in Internet Explorer Mobile from Windows Mobile. However, not as fast as the one in Android 2.2. The real joy is when you want to pan and zoom in a page, which Windows Phone 7 does with no perceivable lag or choppiness.

Working on multiple tabs on the LG Panther reviewed, was another place IE on WP7 shines with no hints of lag(even when the tabs consist of websites full of graphics). You can only have six tabs open at once; the tabs will keep on loading as you open new ones. But Flash and HTML5 support will surely be missed.

A well known fact is that on pressing the back button in IE brings you to the previous page. While, in other programs, hitting the back button steps you back to the previous application you were using. It’s bizarre that this function changes in the browser. (we would suggest an on-screen back button instead, Hope Microsoft is listening and fixes this one soon

One of the coolest features in particular was Facebook integration. It allows the LG Panther’s address book to display the contact’s Facebook status next to their contact details. Also the contact’s physical address was linked to Bing Maps making it just a click away from opening the built-in Bing navigation map app

Other apps:

LG Panther included Zune, the software’s media player, was working well with both music and video content running quickly and clearly. One more stand out feature regarding the camera was that after you take a photo, you can see the picture just took on the left side of the camera screen (“peek”). Also you can swipe your finger left to right to display the picture you took.

Final Call on the LG Panther review:

Major disappointment was the unavailability of Xbox Live support in the prototype. The platform seems to be competitive but with the hype around for the Windows Mobile 7, it definitely seems to stay a little behind. Also, with some major loopholes like the multi-tasking ones which we mentioned earlier, Microsoft still has a huge task ahead of them to remove all those niggles and come out with an out of the box Smartphone.

LG has apparently told Korean sources that Windows Phone 7 will outperform Android. So what do you feel is LG correct or is this just a case of blowing their own trumpets in the music of Smartphones?

Microsoft finally makes improvements on Windows Phone 7.

That is, at least partially. As usual Microsoft seems to lag a bit when it comes to implementing changes and improvements, and that is no different for its Windows Phone 7.

This time especially FaceBook users will like the improvements on the Windows Phone 7.
Microsoft has stated they have initiated and released Windows Phone 7 for manufacturing. This mean that the final stage, OEM installation, is just around the corner. Sadly we were not able to get the exact release date, but listening to the rumors about the Microsoft Windows Phone 7 release – it could be out by October.

One thing that annoyed many beta users was the terrible contact management support that Windows Phone 7 has. But luckily it appears Microsoft has heard our words and the RTM version of Windows Phone 7 now features a new filter which will compare your Facebook contacts with your address book.

If it finds a positive match, the phone will show you updates, pictures, and other bits as it If there is no match, there will be no intermingling. Some more add-ons to the Facebook app as you would be able to like someones post and also comment on the contacts walls. Also many other small features have been added in the final version.

We find this really ridiculous from Microsofts part to have focused only on the Facebook app rather than the major issues such as the inabilities in third party Multi-tasking and the Copy Paste problems. With these both issues at the core, according to us Microsoft Windows Phone 7 is only a Handicapped Smartphone.

BlackBerry Curve 3G For Sale
	The famous BlackBerry Curve is getting an updated version of its BlackBerry 6 operating system. Additionally Research in Motion has stated Curve 3G should be available for sale in stores later this month.
The Curve 3G, which also goes by BlackBerry 9300, does support calling over 3G and data over 3G networks. This version will ship with BlackBerry 5, but will be “BlackBerry 6 ready” according to the company. Under the hood, the there not many differences between the Curve 3 and previous models.

No official announcement has been made yet on price, but we assume it sell less than the BlackBerry Torch, which will be available for $199 with two year contract. The BlackBerry Torch is widely considered to be new high end. Both The Curve 3G and the Torch will be hitting the outlets later this month. In USA they will be available on T-Mobile and in Canada on Rogers.

Windows Phone 7 from ASUS?

We know that Samsung Taylor and LG Panther devices were meant only to be development devices for the Pocket PC. But giving us a complete different picture from them is this new ASUS device. It is expected to be a production prototype device that is being tested for certain applications. As of now we could not expand on to the details but it seems that the button panel is nicely adorned with brushed metal. From the image we have we also could not make out if it has a light sensor or a camera which is front-facing. The other features if I am not wrong are the 1GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage and 5MP camera.

Windows Phone 7 Sales Decreasing

A new statistics reveal sales of the Windows Phone 7 Mobile have significantly decreased.

Even the Apple had some issues with the hardware in recent OS, it has not hurt its sales muchand is still doing fine in the market. Google has been releasing new updates almost every month now for its Android. Even with release of many new smartphhones like the LG Expo and the HTC HD2, the overall sales have decreased to 10% in the second quarter of 2010.
However, the portrayal would have been completely different had the NPD reports included even the business purchases.
But the other sources conclude that worldwide share has dropped to a new low of 5%. Near future looks bleak for Windows Phone 7.
It will be “wait and see” if Microsoft will be able to revolutionize the mobile phone market.

Microsoft COO Kevin Turner has announced the launch of Windows Phone 7 in Europe and US. But the Aussies are puzzled about their launch Down Under!!

He has announced that Windows Phone 7 will be launched in Europe around October, and for the US market in the month of November. This he said while giving a presentation about Microsoft’s next-generation mobile operating system targeted for consumers. The features of the Windows Phone 7 also include the radical re-designed structure, Zune support, Xbox integration, and more. The wait is just a short little longer.

For the purpose of security, it is always recommended to hide your SSID with a strong password set in WiFi. But in the case of Windows Phone 7, you will have to keep it visible to browse on this network again.
